Privacy Policy

Account Data: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Authentication is handled by Supabase and passwords are never stored in plaintext.

Usage Data: We collect page view counts, visitor counts, and feature usage metrics to improve the Service. We do not track individual browsing behavior.

Chat Data: Messages sent to the AI Brain feature are processed by Groq (our AI provider) to generate responses. Chat history is not permanently stored on our servers.

Preferences: If you set dietary preferences, favorites, or other settings, these are stored in your user profile.

We use collected information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) authenticate your account; (c) personalize your experience (favorites, recommendations); (d) process AI chat requests; (e) generate and display content (ExpCards, clips); (f) send notifications you have opted into; (g) improve the Service.

The Service integrates with:

Supabase: Database and authentication. Your account data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. See Supabase Privacy Policy.

Groq: AI processing for Brain chat and content generation. Chat messages are sent to Groq for processing. See Groq Privacy Policy.

YouTube / Google: Episode data and thumbnails are fetched via YouTube Data API. We do not share your data with Google. See Google Privacy Policy.

TikTok: Video clips may be posted to TikTok via the Content Posting API. See TikTok Privacy Policy.

Vercel: The Service is hosted on Vercel. See Vercel Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored on Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases with row-level security (RLS) enabled. All data transmission uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We do not sell your data to third parties.

The Service uses essential cookies for authentication session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) correct inaccurate data; (c) delete your account and associated data; (d) export your data; (e) opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@roganexp.com.

Account data is retained for the duration of your account. Chat messages are processed in real-time and not permanently stored. Usage metrics are retained in aggregate form. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us for removal.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
